Who Am I ?

For a long time, I was at war with femininity.

I grew up as a tomboy, rejecting softness, vulnerability, and everything I believed femininity represented. I thought strength meant hardness, control, and distance from emotion. (Which was the opposite of what I was).
Later, I swung to the opposite extreme, trying to reclaim the feminine in its most intense, overwhelming forms : almost as another way of fighting myself. I was blaming men and masculinity for the way women were treated.

It took years to understand that healing is not about choosing a side, but about finding harmony.
