This work shows a female figure on her knees, which twists backwards to the point of tearing itself apart, physically expressing the intensity of emotion and desire. From this tear emerge butterflies that fly in all directions, materializing the metaphorical expression of the "butterflies in the belly" pushed to its extreme.
The work explores passion in its pure state: that which consumes, transforms and sometimes destroys, but which also testifies to the vital impulse towards what one desires deeply.
