The goddess represents a female figure slowly emerging from the waters, illuminated by the light of the full moon. Water flows from her mouth, as if it was finally discharging from what had submerged her, regaining her breath. Once a goddess, reduced to the title of 'lady of the lake', she rises here to the surface to regain her true place: that of an ancient power, deep, untamed. Her posture reveals the resumption of a power that had been attempted to relegate to the depths. The work explores the resurgence of the sacred feminine, its resistance to erasure and its ability to be reborn, even after having been swallowed.
