The Witches They Didn’t Burn represents a succubus inspired by Lilith, a mythical figure, levitating in the heart of the flames. Surrounded by incandescent red, she holds in her hands two blue skulls, memory of all those who unjustly passed through the flames. The work pays tribute to the witches who they tried to silence and celebrates the lineage of powerful women they failed to burn.
